Welcome!

Have a look at Kev Lee's starting setup in the setup section of this site - it's by the best setup that has ever graced a predator and it works everywhere.

If the car is new, then the best way to build it is slowly. Take your time assemble it carefully. YOu can't throw one together and expect it to work well, it's a car that has to be built if you see what I mean.

Is your car new or 2nd hand? If it is 2nd hand it is likely that the mods will already have been made - if they have not, the only mod you really need to do is the pushrod mount on the front - that is one of the most noticeable changes that you can make on the car.

Chris has pretty much covered it, kev's set up is the best starting point! You'll need to modify the chassis slightly to accept stick pack lipos, there a guide floating around somewhere which explains all the mods (link anyone? Im on my ipod, cant find it)

You may also want to fill the chassis slots in with milliput, again only if your using lipos.

Hope that made sense? Feel free to ask more questions Grin

it's a different length turnbuckle. I seem to think it's a 65mm turnbuckle, but can't be sure.

The pushrod that comes with the pred is not adjustable, if I remember correctly.
