Whilst I was at the Petite, I had chance to look over the X11 RS car, and rather nice it is too.
The obvious differences are that it has the new plastic chassis on there (the lipo one) and the new front bumper is included too. The rest of the car appears to be "plastic" as opposed to graphite. There are other visual differences on the new car too. For example the driveshafts are black not shiny, and some of the turnbuckles have been replaced by fixed length rods. The suspension rockers seem to be from the X10. None of the metal work is anodised blue, but it is left it's natural silver alloy colour - to be honest it looks quite good too. So much so I might de-anodize my own blue stuff!
Speaking of metal work, I think the metal diff bushes have been replaced by the plastic alternatives as well and the motor plate is the older P8 style one without the cooling holes and extra adjustability.
As with the X10 RS, i expect that the ceramic bearings and diff balls will have been replaced with stainless steel alternatives. For me though, the biggest omission is that of the big bore shocks - perhaps the most important upgrade on the X11.
The car, I was told, is to retail at around £270.00 - it's not bad for a car with the pedigree of the Predator, but it would appear you still have to provide your own battery strap!
