I received my spares on friday. They seemed to have been send my air-mail. Guess the Team Xtreme people knew I did need them in a hurry.
Al though I never got any message explaining this exuberant delay, only a message sayingt that the parts were shipped on tuesday.

I guess if you race in the UK, spares musn't really be a propblem ... but overhere we are like two drivers running the Pred ... and in our Nationals I would have been the only one ... so when you break something, you need to have your own spares.
Also, we run our nationals on one day: 2WD and 4WD, so there is not many time between heats left when you run two classes at the same time.

I wrote "would have been" because I decided to not run the Pred this weekend.
I felt sickish, did not have to much time left this weekend before the competition-day, and was not able to rebuild my Pred (Had to build two new diff's, build them into my Pred (= disassembling complete drivetrain) and run them in a bit)
... on time with only a saturday-morning left after finding the parts in my letterbox on fridayevening when comming home after work.

I drove my RB5, first time 2WD in a big competition, and that was challenging enough Smiley

Hi everyones,

teamxtrem poor commercial and communication is a real issue for race those cars.

Everyone around me think the Pred looks terrific, but no one want to have the same difficulties as us for parts ordering.

And how do you thiink i felt when i red "I'm not saying you would do this but it
has been known for people to claim they have not received a parcel when in fact
they have had it" from ones of Vanina's email ?

May be should i consider to be lucky to sometimes have an answer from them ?

Olivier.

Sadly, the news is not shocking. One of my hopes, when team xtreme bought t.tech, was that customer service and communication improved. It is a shame they do not appear to have. Again though, I do understand the difficulties of a small company satisfying the demands of it's customers, but it is a very basic need that is not being met, seemingly.

Let's hope the situation improves in the near future, then we can all drive predators happy in the knowledge of reliable customer support.
